The Oktibbeha County Training School / Henderson High School Scholarship Fund Inc is a 501(c) (3) organization and is exempt from Federal income tax under the Internal Revenue Code. OCTS/HHS Scholarship Fund, Inc is also certified by the State of Mississippi as a nonprofit organization. The purpose of the OCTS/HHS Scholarship Fund, Inc. is to promote academic achievement by awarding scholarships to qualifying high school graduates of Starkville and Oktibbeha County schools. The organization is made up of former students, and Friends and Family of OCTS/HHS attendees. The basic objective of this organization is to raise money to provide financial assistance to qualifying graduates of Starkville and Oktibbeha County Schools who plan to continue their education beyond high school. Scholarships are awarded annually and Starkville and Oktibbeha County High School Seniors should contact their guidance counselors for a scholarship application packet in the early spring prior to graduation.
